Alert - Urgency notifications
Urgency notifications are used to create a sense of urgency in customers in order to prompt them to take immediate action, such as making a purchase. This can take various forms, such as information on products availability, buying frequency or price updates.
Increase conversion rate
1. Triggers rules
The workflow is displayed:
– to all users
– to users who browsed selected product pages
2. Design rules
This workflow will be displayed as a notification close to the price
3. Condition rules
To trigger the workflow, you have to be on one of the valid product pages.
The workflow will trigger after 5 seconds on page.
4. Testing rules
Active AB test
A – Control variation (no_show): 50%
B – NextUser variation (show): 50%
In Testing mode, all the rules are ignored and the workflow is displayed instantly.
In Production mode, workflow rules and triggers will be applied.
- Open the web browser in incognito/private mode
Go to the URL, as if you were browsing the website.
Wait for the page to be fully loaded (this will ensure that browsed page is tracked)
- Accept the cookies consent
- After 5 seconds the workflow will be displayed below the product price with a randomized number of product sales which will depend on date, time of the day and number of product reviews
- After every hour the number of the sales will increment plus 1
