1. Triggers rules
The workflow is displayed:
– to users who browsed content
– on all pages

2. Design rules
The workflow will be displayed as a banner or a widget

3. Condition rules
Workflow will be displayed once per session
When the user clicks on the workflow, it will not be displayed anymore
The workflow can be dismissed by clicking on the “x” in the top right corner. If dismissed, the workflow will not be displayed anymore in the same session

4. Algorithm
The content recommendation is based on an algorithm defined by several parameters: browsing history, popular brands, popular categories, and popular content. The algorithm is chosen depending on the goal.

5. Testing rules
Active AB test
A – Control variation (no_show): 50%
B – NextUser variation (show): 50%

Use the test link or the force link if the workflow is live
 

NOTE
In Testing mode, all the rules are ignored and the workflow is displayed instantly.
In Production mode, workflow rules and triggers will be applied.

In all cases, you need to have a browsing history.

Before starting a test, please make sure that all Privacy/Ad blockers are deactivated!

  1. Open the web browser in incognito/private mode

  2. Go to the URL, as if you were browsing the website.

  3. Wait for the page to be fully loaded (this will ensure that browsed page is tracked)

  4. Open a new tab and go to the test URL

  5. Accept the cookies consent
  6. The workflow will be displayed in the page

  7. Click on the displayed content to go to that page

  8. The workflow can be dismissed if you click on the “x” at the top right corner of the workflow
