1. Triggers rules
The workflow is displayed:
– to users that have browsed pages or any specific actions (place an order, create an account etc)
– for all pages
2. Design rules
The workflow will be displayed as a widget
3. Condition rules
Workflow will be displayed once per session
If the customer does not click on it, the workflow does not open
When the user clicks on the workflow, it will not be displayed anymore
The workflow can be dismissed by clicking on the “x” in the top right corner. If dismissed, the workflow will not be displayed anymore in the same session
4. Testing rules
Active AB test
A – Control variation (no_show): 50%
B – NextUser variation (show): 50%
NOTE
In Preview mode, all the rules are ignored and the widget is displayed instantly.
In Production mode, workflow rules and triggers will be applied.
Before starting a test, please make sure that all Privacy/Ad blockers are deactivated!
- Open the web browser in incognito/private mode
- Go to the URL, as if you were browsing the website.
Wait for the page to be fully loaded (this will ensure that browsed page is tracked)
Open a new tab and go to the test URL
- Accept the cookies consent
- The progressive profiling workflow widget will be displayed in the top left of the page
- If the customer does not click on it, the workflow does not open
- Choose the answers of the questions and submit your them
The workflow can be dismissed if you click on the “x” at the top right corner of the workflow
