Cart retargeting - email, sms & web
Convert more users that added items to the cart and leave the checkout without finalizing their order. Send a personalized email or SMS to highlight the items left in their cart and allow them to pick up the checkout session at any time. Remind users about their cart upon landing if they return to the website.

1. Triggers rules
The workflow is displayed:
– to users adding to cart and identified
– for landing page only
2. Design rules
The workflow will be displayed as a pop-up on the website. The user will receive a SMS and or an email.
3. Condition rules
Display the products remaining in the user’s cart
Clicking on any link (picture, title) redirects to a related product page. Open that page in the same tab.
Clicking on the cart button redirects to the cart
4. Testing rules
Active AB test
A – Control variation(no_show): 50%
B – NextUser variation (show): 50%
Use the test link or the force link if the workflow is live
In Testing mode, all the rules are ignored and the workflow is displayed instantly.
In Production mode, workflow rules and triggers will be applied.
In all cases, you need to have a browsing history.
Before starting a test, please make sure that all Privacy/Ad blockers are deactivated!
Open the web browser in incognito/private mode
Go to the URL, as if you were browsing the website.
Wait for the page to be fully loaded (this will ensure that browsed page is tracked)
- Add one or more of the products to cart
Open a new tab in existing incognito/private window and go to the test URL
- Accept the cookies consent
The workflow will be displayed in the page. You will see “Previously added to cart” section on the top of the page. It will contain the last or last two product you viewed (depending on the number of products you looked at previously)
- Click on any link (image or title) of recommendation redirects to a related product page (in the same tab)
The workflow can be dismissed if you click on the “x” at the top right corner of the workflow
